It's been 30 years since Jessica McClure fell down a well in Midland, Texas. She was trapped for nearly 60 hours before being extricated. Her dramatic rescue had everyone transfixed in 1987.
"I had God on my side that day," she told the "People" magazine. "My life is a miracle." In the new issue, McClure opens up about the event that had the whole nation on edge when she fell as an 18-month-old. McClure, now 30, works as a special education teacher's aide and has two kids of her own, Simon, 9, and Sheyenne, 7.
