*Former Donald Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort and a deputy campaign official will turn themselves in today to face charges stemming from an investigation by special counsel Robert Mueller into alleged Russian election meddling.
Manafort and his business partner, Rick Gates, were told to surrender to federal authorities. It's not yet clear what the charges are. These are the first indictments announced by the special counsel.

*Hundreds of thousands of homes and businesses in the northeast are without power this morning after a strong storm moved up the coast packing strong winds and heavy rain.
The nor'easter arrived on the fifth anniversary of Superstorm Sandy, dumping several inches of rain which caused flooding and tropical storm-force winds which caused downed trees and power lines. Airports across the region are still experiencing widespread delays today.

Dangerous weather is pounding the Northeast. Parts of the Northeast are under a flood warning and streets are flooded in a number of places. More than four inches of rain has fallen in some locations so far. Close to 150-thousand people in the Northeast have no electricity because of the wind blowing over power lines.

VA Man Sentenced For Joining ISIS-
A Virgina man is going to federal prison for 20 years for trying to join ISIS. The Department of Justice announced the sentence Friday for Mohamad Jamal Khweis, who spent months with ISIS in Syria starting in late 2015. There he took part in some training, gave money to ISIS members and signed a pledge to be a suicide bomber. He was then sent to an ISIS-controlled area of Iraq where he was captured. He later turned himself in to U.S.-backed Kurdish allies.
