St. Louis County Police Department Respond to Driving Rumors

The St. Louis County Police Department have posted a public advisory on Facebook addressing rumors that they will stop drivers and question them. The post reads,

"We’ve fielded numerous questions regarding driving in St. Louis County during the Stay at Home Order. It has been erroneously circulated that St. Louis County Police officers will pull over drivers and ask for “papers” or proof of where they’re going.

Our department is not doing this. We encourage residents to refer to www.stlcorona.com and reference the Stay at Home Order to make decisions on where and when they should travel.

Please know, we’re all in this together and can help slow the spread of COVID-19 by following the advice of our health care professionals. Be safe."
