Daylight Saving Time has ended, which means you get an extra precious hour of sleep! But turning your clocks back an hour can also trigger Seasonal Affective Disorder, which is a depression caused by a change in season. Here are a few tips to help beat the winter blues:

  • Expose yourself to plenty of light: Get outside during the day. Open your blinds to at let some sunshine into your home.
     
  • Exercise late: A late-afternoon or early evening workout can help you stay energized during dreary evenings.
     
  • Light therapy: Keep a sun box at your desk. It mimics natural sunlight, so a regular lamp won’t do the trick. (Huffington Post)
