If you are hoping to watch the new James Bond Skyfall movie and get the most out of it I would recommend watching ALL of the films in order. A tall order but you WILL understand the movies a lot better :-) To dates there are now 23 Bond movies over the course of 50 years! The list below is a great way to start.

“Moonraker” was released in 1979 with Roger Moore as James Bond. As if investigating on Earth wasn't hard enough, Bind heads to space to find out who hijacked a space ship.
“For Your Eyes Only” was released in 1981 with Roger Moore as James Bond. Bind must find a British encryption device on a sunken ship before the Russians do.
“Octopussy” was released in 1983 with Roger Moore as James Bond. Murder and thievery sends Bond to team up with a circus group in order to restore peace and save the world from war.
“A View to Kill” was released in 1985 and was Roger Moore's last James Bond role. With the Silicon Valley at risk, Bond must stop a man made earthquake of the San Andreas fault.
“The Living Daylights” was released in 1987 with Timothy Dalton as James Bond. Bond is up against an arms dealer in Afghanistan in order to free General Koskov.
“License to Kill” was released in 1989 with Timothy Dalton as James Bond. Revenging his best friends death, Bond is after an drug lord without the help of MI6.
“Golden Eye” was released in 1995 with Pierce Brosnan as James Bond. London is in danger when a rogue agent, who was believed to be dead, is determined to set a satellite that destroys all electronic equipment.
“Tomorrow Never Dies” was released in 1997 with Pierce Brosnan as James Bond. Bad press will send Bond to become a peacemaker. To get premiere media coverage a media giant is about to set of a war between the UK and China.
“The World is Not Enough” was released in 1999 with Pierce Brosnan as James Bond. Elektra King is an oil heiress that Bond believes is involved with a terrorist.
“Die Another Day” was released in 2002 with Pierce Brosnan as James Bond. Bond goes to North Korea after being capture and tortured a little over a year earlier. His goal is to find the laser that can destroy the world.
“Quantum of Solace” was released in 2008 with Daniel Craig as James Bond. Bond is fueled on avenging the death of the woman he loved. This fuel drives him to get the person responsible for trying to control natural resources in the world.
“Skyfall" released this weekend with Daniel Craig starring as James Bond. I won't give any spoilers...but it's AWESOME!
