Holiday Light Recycling Drive
64,000 pounds of holiday lights were recycled in 2011 and 2012 is expected to bring in 128,000 pounds! The lights are recycled and sent back to the manufacturer to be reused but the best part is that recycling also helps feed the hungry. A portion of proceeds from the drive is donated to Operation Food Search, helping those less fortunate to have a happier holiday season.
Drive Information:
98 Walmart Stores-Statewide: November 17th - December 30, 2012
All other locations: November 17 - January 13, 2013.
