I can't help it---these sort of things are ALWAYS funny--especially when they happen on live television.

A college basketball announcer named James Bates was doing a segment at half-court before Xavier's game against the University of Dayton on Saturday.  And in the middle of his report, the wooden barstool he was sitting on collapsed.

He tried to make a joke about it, but it didn't really land with his co-anchor.  He stood up and said, quote, "A big-time rivalry . . . not a big-time stool."

How about that for a choice of words?....

And it's pitch perfect.  Everything from the voice, the attitude, the band, the 60's inspired psychedelic "video".

Sure, it would have been nice to be able to take my wife out to a nice dinner for Valentines Day--to have some time away for just the two of us.

But if we had gone out we would have missed this.

I think we made the right choice.  Way to go Ben!!
